The Huffington Post reported that FLOTUS (acronym for First Lady of the United States) was seen heading to Camp David wearing a $29.99 Gap dress (as a tunic), a pair of white pants and a pair of sandals.
According to the Huff Post, this ins’t out of the norm for the First Lady and has been seeing sporting ‘fast fashion’ to many important events from retailers including Target and H&M.
I think dressing this way for Mrs. Obama is a smart thing. Right now our country is in economic turmoil. Many are struggling to pay bills, losing their homes, etc. How icky would it come across if our First Lady galavanted around in all designer, all the time? Additionally, is it just me or do you all get the feeling that cheap and chic dressing has always been the norm for her? She seems like such a practical and grounded woman who isn’t easily wooed by a pair of budget busting Louboutins.
Michelle Obama’s Cheap Chick look…Love it or Hate it?
