Lisa Zaslow is a longtime friend of mine. She is also a professional organizers and founder & president of Gotham Organizers here in NYC.
Over the years, in addition to being friends, we’ve also referred clients and gone to each other for advice. This past week, it was her turn to seek out advice on her personal style from me. However, during our session, she showed me something that I wanted to share with all of you.
As you can imagine, Lisa’s closet was very organized, making it even easier for me to get through her wardrobe quickly. The first thing I noticed were these fabulous closet rod organizers from The Container Store that she uses to divide her wardrobe by classification. She told me that her clients LOVE using them, too. A great idea!
Of course, being the organizer that Lisa is, I wasn’t surprised by the description on the one divider. I laughed and took a photo. Only in the closet of an organizer would you see something like this. Although, it certainly isn’t a bad idea.
I’m so glad you got a kick out of my closet categories! I posted this article on http://www.facebook.com/gothamorganizers and it started a discussion about how people organize their closets.
