Did you catch last week’s video on my YouTube channel? If you missed it, you can check it out below and watch me give two great strategies on how to put outfits together in your wardrobe.
As you saw in my video, taking time to make outfits with the clothing in your closet is an often overlooked step that can save you a lot of time and money. Plus, doing it can also help you get more with less and make your shopping trips more purposeful.
If you want further direction on the two outfit creation strategies I shared, here is a past blog post that will further illustrate and explain how to do it.
The tip for the “organic” approach to putting outfits together is just terrific. I’ve got a pile of fabric that I want to fashion into something, and have been overwhelmed by the various possibilities for it. So, I’ve started putting pieces from the stash in the mix with the stuff I’ve got so that I can figure out what I could (or need to) make of it. I’m working to circle back to the outfit I started with. It’s been fun, interesting, and very instructive process.
I am so glad this is working for you! Thanks for sharing. I think it is a very intuitive and natural approach. I hope you sew up some wonderful things!
