Skin Cancer Prevention Tip #1 Try to avoid the sun between the hours of 10am – 4pm when rays are most intense. Don’t forget about rays coming through windows! One of the worst burns of my life was when I took an afternoon nap with my back to a window. Ouch.

I had 3 moles biopsied last year, all benign. I need all the hats.
I want a hat because I have thin gray hair!
Congrats Kathryn! you won the hat. shoot me an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your mailing addy.
I want a hat because I’m still searching for one that’s just right. The hats I’ve tried are too floppy, or fly off my head with the slightest breeze, or are too stiff, or become unwearable after one washing, or are difficult to pack . . .
So many gorgeous choices – colors, styles, shapes! So many that are perfect for Texas weather. And best of all, that drawstring inside to make the crown just right for my small head. When the restaurant hostess asks, “Inside or outside?” my choice is the patio in all the fabulous places along the lake, because now I can be a hat person!
A hat like this would be perfect for me so I could keep the sun out of my eyes.
